The BNFC supported film Son by Hristo Simeonov took the Main Award in the short feature competition at the 26-th edition of Cottbus Film Festival.
The festival was first held in 1991 and is regarded as the most important festival of Eastern European Cinema worldwide. This year the Cottbus film Festival played host to 200 productions from 45 nations and was attended by 20 000 visitors and 600 accredited industry guests.
