Life in a free world and hell in the heart. This is the lifestory of Stefane Groueff – a Bulgarian writer with American citizenship, who spent 26 years working for the French Paris Match magazine.
Stefane Groueff stays in Switzerland – beyond the Iron Curtain – in 1944 and
makes an amazing career. He meets the celebrities of the 20th c., making
friends with many of them. But during his entire life outside his homeland he
feels enormous bitterness and guilt because of his relatives, who have
stayed in Bulgaria.
