The BNFC supported project Fish Bone by Dragomir Sholev was granted a financial support by the Romanian Film Center at its second session for 2016.
The film is a Bulgarian majority co-production with Romania. The Bulgarian coproducer is Klas Film – Rossitsa Valkanova, scriptwriters are Emanuela Dimitrova, Georgi Merdzhanov and Dragomir Sholev. Sholev’s first feature Shelter won Golden Rose for debut in 2010 and received international recognition.
Camping by the sea. The concessioner of the beach, Ivo, refuses to bury the corpse of yet another dead dolphin that the sea has brought, because it has holes, as if from bullets. All inhabitants of the camping get involved, in one way or another, in the war that breaks out with the institutions, which can’t or don’t want to handle the case. Ivo has to bury the dolphin in the end.
